We believe in stories that move
We focus on narratives that reflect lived realities especially of Filipino migrants and communities in transition. Our works are grounded in movement, both literal and symbolic and seek to reflect the complexity of modern diasporic life.
We make theater that listens
We prioritize active listening in our creative process, drawing from community conversations, shared experiences, and social contexts. Our performances respond to what is often unspoken or overlooked.
We create with the body and the breath
We integrate performance forms such as movement, poetry, music, and visual projections, and other practices or mediums. Our approach is interdisciplinary, valuing embodied storytelling and collaborative creation across art forms.
We are rooted in migration
Our perspective is shaped by the migrant experience. We aim to provide space for reflection, expression, and healing for communities navigating displacement, adaptation, and identity formation.
We work in community, not isolation
Collaboration is at the heart of our practice. We co-create with fellow artists, cultural workers, and local audiences, and we invest in platforms that foster shared learning, such as free workshops and community discussions.
We honor where we come from
Our work draws inspiration from Filipino culture, literature, history, and oral traditions. We revisit, reinterpret, and revive these elements through a contemporary lens to stay connected to our heritage while speaking to our current realities.
We don’t just perform, we transform
We use theater as a tool for awareness, connection, and change. Whether on a formal stage or in public space, our goal is to shift perspectives, open dialogue, and make room for more inclusive narratives.
